Our History

Some women entrepreneurs from different parts of Maharashtra had gone to Delhi to meet Indira Gandhi. 1984.

At that time it was noticed that there were women entrepreneur association in many states but none existed in Maharashtra. The Women’ entrepreneurship association, namely “WIMA” was thus established at the initiative of Ms.Prabha Thakar on 4th May 1985.

What We Do

WIMA has been working tirelessly towards enablement, promotion and growth of women entrepreneurs in the state of Maharashtra. We operate from main three centres of Mumbai, Pune & Aurangabad.

Our Approach

At WIMA we strongly believe in  co-operation and collaboration between women entrepreneurs. we frequently arrange for sessions, seminars online as well as in form of small gatherings. this allows a healthy exchange of views, knowledge and information about government and other schemes etc.
